WEEKLY TOTAL = $43.50 plus 2 desserts - so about $45 total! $5 left for extra supplies - granted most of these supplies I already have, so I'll stock up for another week.

Planning My Menu

I think I am going to change my menu planning to Tuesday/Wednesday instead of Monday. Not because I am anti-alliteration, but because that is when the ads come out and I prepare for my next week of shopping. So, please forgive my venturing out of the norm (something I do too regularly anyway) and here's the plan:



Wednesday, March 16th

D - Hawaiian Haystacks (Rice, Tomatoes, Pineapple, Ham, Peas, Chow Mein Noodles, Cream of Chicken Soup, SALAD, Rolls) $3.50

I have been away from my computer for a bit with busy busy things happening, but I haven't missed some great deals on candy, carpet cleaner and a few other necessities. I will try to post better this week, but the busy's are still here. Here's my plan for our eating this week:

I'm still behind, but my house is cleaner, I've canned over 40 jars of tomatoes & pears, made wheat bread, and the kids have turned in their homework on time. So, here's the plan:

Lunch: PB&J ($.50)
Snack: Popcorn ($.10)
Dinner: White Chicken Chili, Bread, Salad ($2)
Dessert: Brownies (from scratch) ($.50)

Tuesday, October 5th

Snack: Banana Chips ($.25)
Lunch: Ham Sandwich, Carrots, Pear ($.35)
Snack: Pudding ($1)
Dinner: Spaghetti, Beans, & Corn ($2)

Wednesday, October 6th
Breakfast: Breakfast Burritos ($1)
Snack: Apples ($.35)
Lunch: PB&J on Cinnamon Bread, Carrots, Pears ($.45)
