I made a quick trip to Smith's today to use my $3 catalina I earned a few weeks ago (it expired today).
10 lbs of Pork Loin (on sale for $1.99/lb - $3 cataline = $1.45/lb)
1 pkg of Ronzoni Garden Pasta for $.24
5 cans of StarKist Tuna in Water for $.34
3 containers of cottage cheese for $3
4 pkgs of Bar-S Franks for $3
2 cans of tomato sauce for $.78.
TOTAL OUT OF POCKET: $24.95 (with an error - I rang up something twice, should be $23.68).
TOTAL BEFORE SALES: $53.76
A savings of $28.80 or 54% (and more if I hadn't scanned something twice! Argh!)
