Bean Loaf MUMMIFIED

My kids never realized they weren't meat because they were just thrilled to be eating "mummies" and cheese! I thought they were good. "Just add Ketchup!"
(works great in place of meatloaf, or with some meat) - yummiest with Cheese

3 cups pinto beans, cooked, drained & mashed $1
1 small can tomato sauce $.20
1 cup bread crumbs (FREE from homemade bread)
1/4 c finely chopped onion $.10
1/4 c quick oatmeal (I used about 1 cup) $.10
1 egg $.05
1/2 tsp salt $.01
pepper
garlic powder
1/4 c ketchup $.10
1 T soy sauce, optional $.01

Mix all but ketchup together. Place in greased loaf pan & flatten. Spread ketchup on top. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.

MUMMIFIED!
Make mini-men loaves (just blocks with a tiny squish for the neck will do fine as mummies have their arms to their sides anyway. - I was able to get 6 good sized men) Bake in pan, then remove and follow below.

Mozarella Cheese sliced thin and then in small strips. Lay strips over baked beanloaf with opening for eyes - I used about a 1/2 lb. Bake until melted about 5-10 minutes.
